Job Title: Screenwriter (Contract / Project-Based)
About the Role
We are seeking experienced screenwriters with a proven track record of produced or commissioned work to join the creative team behind our upcoming production. This is an opportunity to collaborate with a forward-thinking production outfit focused on developing bold, original, and culturally relevant stories.

Successful candidates will contribute to the development of screenplays across various stages—from concept development to final drafts—working closely with producers, directors, and other creatives.

Key Responsibilities
Develop original story ideas, treatments, and full screenplays
Write, revise, and polish scripts based on creative and production feedback
Collaborate with the creative team to shape characters, dialogue, and story arcs
Participate in story meetings, writers’ rooms, and development sessions
Adapt existing concepts or source material when required
Meet deadlines while maintaining high storytelling and technical standards
Requirements
Proven experience as a screenwriter with produced or credited work
Strong portfolio showcasing completed screenplays or produced projects
Solid understanding of screenplay structure, character development, and dialogue
Ability to take notes, collaborate effectively, and revise scripts when necessary
Familiarity with industry-standard screenplay formats
Passion for storytelling and a strong creative voice
Nice to Have
Experience writing for film, television, or streaming platforms
Background in genre storytelling (drama, thriller, comedy, etc.)
Experience working in collaborative writers’ rooms
