Graphics Designer – LY Prints

Location: Shomolu, Lagos, Nigeria (On-site)

Role Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphics Designer who is passionate about visual communication and brand aesthetics. The ideal candidate will create designs for packaging, merch, product branding, stationery, social media content, and client projects.

This role is collaborative and hands-on within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design print-ready artwork for packaging, merch, labels, souvenirs, and custom products
Create branding and layout concepts according to client specifications
Prepare artwork files suitable for production (DTF, sublimation, large format, etc.)
Collaborate with production and customer service teams to deliver accurate outputs
Assist in creating marketing and content visuals for social media
Manage multiple design requests with consistent quality and timelines
Contribute ideas to improve brand visuals, workflow, and product experience
Requirements

Educational qualification: Ordinary Diploma (ND) and above
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (primary), Photoshop, and other relevant software
Basic understanding of design principles: layout, typography, color theory, and branding
Ability to convert briefs into clear visual concepts
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn production-related design setups (e.g., DTF, packaging templates)
Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
Preferred (Not Required)

Experience with print production formats
Exposure to packaging or merchandising design
Use of mockup tools for product presentation
