ABOUT BOOK BUZZ FOUNDATION:

We are a non-profit committed to promoting reading, literary excellence, and cultural pride through festivals and initiatives that celebrate African stories and voices. Our work spans project management, cultural promotion, advocacy, and large-scale literary events.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Develop and execute digital content strategies across social media and websites
Own the voice and tone of our online communications across multiple events and campaigns
Write, edit, and schedule compelling content: event updates, speaker highlights, newsletters, and live coverage
Collaborate with programming, design, press and media teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.
Manage content calendars, engagement strategies, and community-building efforts
Track analytics to assess performance and adjust strategies as needed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Must have completed NSC
Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends (Instagram, X/ Twitter, Linkedln, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube)
Experience developing and managing digital campaigns
Passion for African literature, culture, or social change
Basic graphic design (Canva/Figma), video editing, and web content management
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams
ROLE TYPE:

• Onsite and must be available to travel and be on ground during major festivals.
