JOB PURPOSE/ KEY OBJECTIVE
The Communications Manager & Storyteller supports the strategic communication goals of HNI clients by drafting press releases, managing public relations initiatives, and overseeing long-form content development (e.g., thought leadership, op-eds, profiles).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Craft compelling communication materials aligned with client voice and objectives.
Manage relationships with media outlets, journalists, and PR contacts.
Coordinate interviews, speaking engagements, and media appearances.
Track media coverage and prepare performance reports.
Excellent story telling skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
4-6 years experience in PR, communications, or journalism.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Existing media network is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain discretion
