2023 AgriTech Challenge Pro – Application Form

The KIC AgriTech Challenge Pro is a 5-month acceleration program aimed at equipping existing early-stage teams or AgriTech startups with the right tools, funding and support to bring their business ideas or products to market and prepare them to scale. The Pro program was developed to create opportunities for teams that are already formed and looking to take their business to the next stage. KIC AgriTech Challenge Pro takes an inclusive approach, offering its services to all agricultural business teams in accordance with KIC’s goal of developing talent and advancing innovation in Ghana. It is targeted at startups or teams that have developed minimum viable products (MVPs) and are older than 3 months, with a minimum of 2 co-founders. Do read and ensure you clearly understand all application requirements. Only one application should be submitted for an idea or startup. The deadline for submission of the application is November 24, 2023.

Criteria for applying to 2022 KIC AgriTech Challenge Pro • Must have an existing team of 2-4 co-founders • Startup should not be older than 2 years (from the date of business registration) • All founders should be between 18 and 35 years • All founders must be resident in Ghana • All founders must have completed tertiary education or be tertiary students • All founders must be available and committed for full duration of the KIC Program • Business idea must address a problem in the agricultural value chain • All female-led teams are highly encouraged to apply

Applications are open for the 2024 AgriTech Challenge Pro. The KIC AgriTech Challenge Pro is an accelerator program aiming to support young entrepreneurs to launch and grow commercially viable, scalable solutions to key problems in the agricultural sector. The program aims to drive technology and innovation as a catalyst to enhancing productivity, improving yields, and creating more jobs within Ghana’s agricultural sector. ​
