We need a cinematographer who will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, and editing visually compelling video content that communicates the company’s message across different platforms and will also collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to create promotional videos, product demos, client testimonials, and brand stories that engage and resonate with our audience.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Plan, direct, and execute all video shoots, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring high-quality content aligned with the company’s brand.
Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop visual storytelling that simplifies complex fintech products and concepts.
Operate and maintain cameras, lighting equipment, and sound recording devices to capture clear, high-quality footage.
Conceptualize and storyboard video projects, ensuring alignment with the creative vision and objectives.
Shoot videos for various platforms including social media, websites, presentations, and events.
Edit footage and add necessary effects, sound, and color grading to create polished, professional final cuts.
Work with the design and animation teams to integrate motion graphics, animations, and text overlays into videos when necessary.
Direct actors, employees, or clients in on-camera roles to ensure natural, authentic performances.
Stay updated on the latest video production techniques, software, and equipment to ensure we produce innovative, cutting-edge content.
Manage production schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure efficient execution of projects.
Ensure videos comply with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Film, production, or a similar discipline.
Proven experience as a cinematographer or videographer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in shooting, lighting, and editing video content.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro,).
Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting techniques, and sound recording.
Experience in shooting both live-action and staged content.
Ability to tell compelling visual stories that engage viewers and simplify complex ideas.
Excellent knowledge of video production workflows, from concept through to delivery.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality.
Knowledge of color correction, grading, and audio mixing.
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in a tech or fintech industry.
Basic knowledge of financial services or products to understand the subject matter.
Knowledge of animation and motion graphics to collaborate effectively with design teams.
Drone operation experience and certification.
Photography skills as an added bonus for capturing stills.
