OVERVIEW
Africa Film for Impact Festival (AFFIF) is dedicated to showcasing and empowering films and filmmakers committed to Social Change themes in movie production across Africa, and the world.
The theme for the 2025 edition of the festival is “BE THE CHANGE”, and it is aimed at leveraging the power of film to address social and human right issues, to create safer communities and a better world at large.
Through well-structured sessions, The 3-Day festival will engage Short and Feature Narrative and Documentary Films screenings, Master Classes, Panel Discussions, Workshops, and Impact Awards, to address Social Themes across; Democracy, Accountability & Anti-Corruption, Human Rights, Human Trafficking, Gender Equity, Sexual & Gender Based Violence, Climate Change, Peace-Security and Counter Terrorism, Digital Rights, Technology as a tool for social change, among others.

The 2025 Africa Film For Impact Festival will climax with an Impact Award Ceremony, which will premiere the closing film for the festival.

GENERAL RULES
The following is an explanation of rules and regulations (“Rules and Regulations”) governing the submission of projects (hereafter called the “Project”) for consideration for the 2025 Africa Film For Impact Festival (hereafter called the “Festival”).
By agreeing to the Terms And Conditions located below, the entity submitting the Film (hereafter called the “Applicant”) acknowledges that he or she has obtained consent from any and all owners, creators, writers, Producers and/or other authorized representatives of the Project (hereafter called the “Project’s Owners”) whose consent is required to submit the Project to the Festival, and has read and understood the submission rules and regulations
