Description
Oyinlomo is a Nigerian film director with adequate skills in cinematography and video editing, whose documentary about “The Reality of Voodoo in Benin Republic” (2022) has been featured in global film festivals.
Oyinlomo started his career in filmmaking as an autodidact by shadowing veteran filmmakers in Nigeria’s nollywood film industry. Since then he has worked amongst others as an assistant video editor on “Gold Statue” a film by “Tade Ogidan” a veteran Nigerian filmmaker, and documenting entertainment events nationwide. He’s also a TV director for Cameraboy TV network.
Overtime, Oyinlomo has showcased stunning visuals and poetic feel for light and atmosphere. His documentary “The Reality of Voodoo in Benin Republic” is aired on StarTimes Cable network (A digital terrestrial television with strong presence in Sub-Saharan Africa).
Oyinlomo is currently building a strong impact in the Nigerian film industry by becoming an alumni of Africa Film Academy and KAP film school where he majored in Video editing & Directing after several years as a freelance cinematographer.
