Research & Curatorial Intern
Our intern will help the academic, curatorial and educational team organise and archive AFRI-related research and educational content.
Contribute to the curatorial vision and execution of public-facing events.
This is a research-focused position; therefore, we would love someone with critical writing and copywriting skills.
The person should have an interest in fashion and textiles from the African continent,
including interdisciplinary practice/research methodologies and decolonial fashion education.
Media & Communications Intern
• Help directors, project leads, and website developer to organise and curate all social
media and public communications platforms i.e. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn,
Whatsapp Communities and Mailchimp.
Share upcoming news, opportunities and relevant research interests with the AFRI community.
We would love someone who can contribute with basic video editing, graphics, and
copywriting skills required for creating reels, stories & short-form video content.
• Someone who can assist with Premiere Pro, Canva, or equivalent platforms and social media analytics.
