Call for Short Animation Films — Now Open!

Submissions are officially open for the AfroAnimation Summit 2026 Short Animation Film Awards.

We’re inviting creators to submit animated short films (up to 10 minutes) that highlight bold storytelling and diverse perspectives.

Screening and Awards take place April 23–24, 2026

• Nominees films shown on the big screen at AMC Burbank 16 Theatre.

• $500 cash prize per category + custom trophy

• Global exposure to industry professionals and audiences
