Job Description:
The Colorado African Cultural Center is looking for a skilled Social Media Video Editor with 3-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Social Media Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and impactful video content for our social media platforms, helping us connect with our audience and promote our cultural initiatives effectively.
Responsibilities:
Create engaging and dynamic video content for social media platforms.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and storyboards.
Edit and enhance video footage, including color correction, audio adjustments, and visual effects.
Ensure brand consistency and adherence to style guidelines in all video content.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in video editing and social media marketing.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
3-6 years of experience in video editing and content creation, preferably in social media marketing.
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work and creative content ideas.
Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition in video content.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate ideas effectively.
Access to stable internet, uninterrupted electricity, and quick turnaround capabilities.
Familiarity with social media platforms and their video specifications and requirements.
Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for creating compelling visual narratives.
