ABOUT THE ROLE
The Goethe-Institut Nigeria is looking for a Video Editor (m/f/d) from April, 2026, for a fixed term collaboration until December 31, 2026.

This is a remote role; however, biweekly meetings are required.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Editing raw footage into polished content (longform and shortform)  engaging reels/shorts with captions, music, and Goethe-Institut branding.
Supporting storytelling that highlights German language learning, cultural exchange, and community engagement through visuals.
Ensuring consistent delivery of minimum 8 videos per month

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven skills in video editing (experience in longform and shortform content. Particular to innovative approches to reels & shorts preferred).
Reliability and consistency in meeting deadlines.
Someone goal-oriented and self-motivated
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for culture, education, and community engagement.
Work permit for Nigeria for other nationalities.
