Job Title: Nigerian Storytelling Voice Over Artist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and expressive Nigerian voice-over artist with Great Work Ethics to narrate original Nigerian folktales for digital storytelling platforms.

The ideal candidate must be able to bring stories to life through emotion, pacing, cultural depth, and authentic Nigerian tone—capturing drama, humor, wisdom, and suspense without sounding robotic or rushed.

The ideal candidate must be able to bring each story alive, despite following the script, you are allowed to put in a touch of yourself to make the story interesting and sound original.

The ideal candidate’s accent despite being Nigerian must not be overshadowed by their tribal tongue.

Simply put, no Igbotic, or yoruba or hausa accent.

Key Responsibilities

Narrate Nigerian folktales with clear diction, emotional depth, and natural storytelling flow

Maintain consistent audio quality across recordings

Deliver clean, noise-free recordings ready for publishing

Follow provided scripts while adding natural storytelling rhythm with your personal touch to bring the stories alive

Meet agreed deadlines and recording schedules.

Requirements

Great Work ethics (no excuses)

Authentic Nigerian accent

Must have a sweet storytelling voice

Must possess Strong storytelling ability (not just reading), but ability to actually tell stories and keep your listeners hooked

Ability to read and speak Nigerian english fluently

Excellent emotional control:

Sadness, anger, joy, sarcasm, suspense

Ability to narrate long-form stories without fatigue

Clear pronunciation and smooth pacing

Ability to voice multiple characters in one story and switch tone seamlessly

Must be willing to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement relinquishing all rights to the recordings in perpetuity.

Technical Requirements:

Access to a quiet recording environment

Good quality microphone and audio interface

Clean WAV or high-quality MP3 delivery

Ability to make basic edits (remove breaths, background noise, long pauses)

Stable internet connection for file delivery.
